Counselor's Corner

Dear Parents and Families,

My name is Breanna Monk, and I am the School Counselor at Jerry Lee Faine Elementary. I am excited to support our students and families this year!

I am available Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and can be reached at breanna.monk@dothan.k12.al.us or 334-794-1455. Please feel free to contact me at any time.

As a school counselor, I support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth. My goal is to help every child feel safe, supported, and successful at school.

Throughout the year, I provide:
    •    Classroom guidance lessons
    •    Small group counseling
    •    Individual student support
    •    Collaboration with teachers and families

My work focuses on preventative support, helping students build skills in areas such as friendship, emotional regulation, and problem-solving.
