Jerry Lee Faine Elementary School invites you to to join us at our school on Friday, February 17, 2017 for our Anti-Bullying Raise the Flag event. This event is being held in honor of the STOP BULLYING: SPEAK UP “LOVE IS SPOKEN HERE!” Campaign. Throughout the week we will be offering students videos about building relationships. Our students are learning how to be a part of a “Positive Footprint Initiative” by being Up-standers rather than Bystanders. Students will engage in activities about bullies and how to deal with these social situations positively. We will be encouraging students to promote our bully-free zone by adding positive messages around our school. Students will also be creating banners and posters for this initiative that will be displayed around the school and presented during their P.E. classes. The following weekly activities will help spread awareness for anti-bullying:
Monday, February 13, 2017-Tell Someone Who Can Help – Students wear “Bully-Free “bracelets “Bands that Bond”
Tuesday, February 14, 2017 Being Kind – Wear “Blue for Being Kind”.
